Educating the Next Generation of Early Childhood Policy Experts

E3C is committed to preparing the next generation of early childhood policymakers, leaders, scholars, and practitioners by creating immersive, interdisciplinary learning experiences that connect academic training with real-world impact.

Early Childhood Policy Summer Institute

In 2025, E3C partners launched the inaugural Early Childhood Policy Summer Institute in Sacramento, providing immersive, cross-sector learning for graduate students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees in a range of fields, along with a Certificate in Early Learning Science and Child Policy. Courses

We offer interdisciplinary graduate courses that span education, public policy, public health, and social welfare, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to lead systemic change in early childhood. Featured courses include:
